Superb early Victorian late Georgian 18ct Almandine Garnet pendant and 9ct chain
I am delighted to offer for sale this beautiful rare and elegant late Victorian /Georgian flat cut foiled and closed backed garnet pendant in 18ct rose gold.
The pendant forms a shimmering cascade of almandine garnets and pear shaped drops, all articulated and culminating in a slightly larger bohemian garnet set drop. The pendant measures approx. drop 6 1/2 cm x 3 cm. The weight is 7.5 grams.
The chain is an excellent quality 9ct rose gold and a wide curb link with the old 9ct hallmark on the chain, this is a very good match and is Victorian. Weight 6.4 grams. The length is 19 inches.
This is a truly beautiful antique pendant which will certainly be admired.
