This is a large five stone antique diamond ring which truly makes a statement.

When this ring was handmade diamonds were in extremely short supply, neither was there the four c's as in modern diamond jewellery today.

These diamonds are old cut stones and measure approx. 2 @ .20ct 2 @ .30ct and centrally .50ct. minimum, measured in situ on spread and antique diamonds do weigh more than brilliant cuts. When this ring was handmade diamonds were not in plentiful supply and jewellers would use what they had available, and saying that, this ring is a beauty!

The eye is immediately drawn to A spectacular central cushion cut clean diamond in an unusual slightly rectangular setting being a minimum 1ct stone guaranteed because it measures 7mm and is not shallow. No Visible inclusions with any stones. The surrounding eight old cut diamonds all individually collet set are varying in size i,e. top and bottom approx. .35ct each . Sided by two diamonds at approx .25ct each, then 4 @ approx .15ct each. Total diamond weight in this ring approx 2.80ct minimum. The stones are deep and I have measured on spread in situ. I have great pleasure in offering for sale an absolutely top class set, of superb original art deco double string pearls, with an absolutely stunninly beautiful ruby and diamond platinum clasp which is large and truly makes a statement.

The pearls are without doubt, top quality, completely rounded, graded and graduated with thick nacre and lustrous creamy pinky white and strung on silk close together without knots to ensure neatness. There are 80 pearls to one string and 96 to the other. Total 176.The thick lustre and colour is incredible.

The pearls measure from approx 1mm to 5mm. The neatest pearls I have ever had.The clasp is all platinum, heavy and solid with a low gallery and measures 3cm x 2cm. The central part being slightly raised. There are 37 diamonds which are VS G colour in my opinion. These are 3 to 5 point diamonds with a total carat weight of approx. 1ct minimum. The rubies are calibrated baguettes and are natural rubies not synthetic and without any rubbing or damage and baguette cut. 18 rubies approx. .5ct total approx. 1ct. The snap is integrated and slides through the side to be hidden at the back.

This peice has the registration mark engraved into the back of the head which dates this registered design between 1868-1883.

Intricate, expert top floral carving to the rare salmon coral panel, set within a rectangular solid gallery securely hinged to open as a secret compartment for a picture or memento, insert intact. Egyptian Revival Plique A Jour Scarab Lapis Choker WOW

When King Tutankhamun’s tomb was discovered in the 1920s, it was not only an important archeological find, it influenced everything from architecture to fashion. Woman all over the world began wearing jewellery, headdresses, and belts with Egyptian motifs. Women wore snake bracelets on their upper arms or beaded headdresses like Cleopatra. Egyptian revival jewellery typically featured traditional Egyptian symbols such as scarabs, ankhs, sphinx, pyramids, and pharaohs. Egyptian revival jewellery often was made with precious metals such as sterling silver or gold. Accessories were also made with Czech glass, Bakelite, and gemstones like turquoise or lapis.
The piece I have found here is an absolutely exceptional choker featuring a central scarab or dung beetle. Plique a Jour wings and lapis drops. A huge totally stunning piece ... which truly makes a statement.
The central scarab is a huge carved stone, actually I think it is lapis agate in the raw, a lustrous mutton blue colour with darker blue flecks. The back of the scarab has hieroglyphic writing, symbols (one is a snake) which I believe is J in the alphabet, the rest, seemingly three more symbols, I cannot transcribe. The back is hallmarked 800, which is European silver, probably French or German. The entire piece is gilded. .
The legs surround while holding lapis stones and go into the wings which are sectioned plique a jour windows, the top one has suffered slight damage, and can be seen in the photograph.. The colours are muted and beautiful. Finished with deep blue lapis drops with gold flecks and festooning chain. The chain is silver gilt with yellowy green enamelled sections. Great attention to detail is displayed throughout.
This is a rare and beautiful necklace and frankly even with all my experience in the antique jewellery trade, I have not seen anything quite like it! Looks like a museum piece!.

This is a truly superb set of jewellery, a jade and diamond pendant and matching long jade earrings.
The metal is all Platinum and this is an original art deco set.
Jade is a brittle stone and to carve down to the slimness of the pieces here takes a quality craftsman. A good flowing colour apple jade. Five holes in each piece, I think the Chinese believe this is lucky!
The diamond in the pendant is collet set and measures approx 25 points and an old cut white beautiful twinkling stone shining as only these old cut diamonds do.

This Stunning *one off * ring has A superb verdant green rectangular natural emerald, natures footprints evident under high magnification and measuring approx 4 x 2 mm featured in the centre of its highly stylised hexagon shape, milligrain set and surrounded by 6 quality (old cut european diamonds) set down into the head and sparkling in abundance.
Great attention to detail and top workmanship is displayed in the allover bead work to the top and shoulders, with a diamond in each stylised shoulder all matched beautifully in a very low gallery setting, very close to the finger.
The top of the ring is all platinum. The gallery and shank 18ct yellow gold. The ring is hallmarked in the old way 18ct plat on the shank. Open backed to allow light onto the stones.

Centrally set with a lustrous columbian emerald, this fantastic antique has tons of charisma.

A wonderful 1.25ct natural emerald which has a delicious emerald cut. Set in 18ct gold it emits the most beautiful green colouring and on its own would make a superb statement. A top quality columbian emerald.

Around the emerald and on the shoulders are thirty small twinkling diamonds. Pave set in solid platinum they calloborate to give the illusion of one big diamond adding an extra dimension to the ring.

In addition on the shoulders are matching 0.15ct old cut diamonds. These are si h colour. Milligrain set in platinum they complement the emerald perfectly giving a unique twist to this elaborate design.
