An exquisite and rare pare of pietra dura earrings.

These earrings are long measuring 5cm x 13mm at the widest part.

The plaques are onyx inlaid with small pieces of various agates forming a floral scene. The surrounds acid test as gold. Original shepherd hook ear fittings.

Exquisite workmanship and excellent condition. c. 1880.
