OUTSTANDING DIAMOND AND MEXICAN FIRE OPAL PEARL EDWARDIAN CORSAGE PENDANT

A stunningly beautiful original Edwardian diamond pendant in excellent condition with fabulous gemstones. FEATURING, a central collet and claw set natural fire opal with marvelous play of colour and intense deep orange red, this stone glows and measures 5mm x 7mm, approx 3/4ct. no rubbing or damage. This is surrounded by 10 diamonds at approx 3 pts each. The trefoil?cluster of diamond (3) above this measure 25 points each with two more diamonds at either side measuring 25 points each and the scrolled pieces making up this wonderful design slightly art nouveau are all inset with diamonds and hand beadwork and millegrain beadwork.

All these stones are matching top top quality vvsi and G colour minimum. Total diamond weight approx 1 ct 3/4 minimum.

This pendant is finished with a gleaming lustrous natural pearl drop which is diamond capped all the way around. 18ct yellow backed and 18ct white gold front. A shepherds hook at the back to hold the a chain and a pin for extra security.Excellent workmanship is displayed back and front. Truly a top piece of antique Jewellery.Dimensions, measures 3 cm x 3 1/2 cm.
